Antonio Brown Attacks the NFL on Twitter

Former New England Patriots wide receiver, Antonio Brown, has proclaimed in a string of tweets that he will never play in the NFL again. Brown was released from his contract with the New England Patriots prematurely. This follows accusations of sexual misconduct levelled against the player by a second woman. During his Twitter rant, Antonio Brown saw it fitting to include an African proverb. It read ‘The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth’. Many saw this tweet as a warning to the popular football league.

Antonio Brown also made mention of the allegations of sexual misconduct levelled against New England Patriots owner, Robert Kraft. Brown made the reference of a former teammate, Ben Roethlisberger, who was accused of sexual harassment. Roethlisberger was suspended for four games. Brown tweeted ‘4 games for Big Ben crazy world I’m done with it’. The NFL has announced that it will continue with investigations into Brown’s conduct as it has previously done in the past with other players.
